We are planning the implementation of the camp based on the pre-registrations and will check which age groups can participate at the respective locations.
Only after that will you receive further information about the final registration and on payment methods.



Please fill out a separate form for each child so we can plan the summer program as effectively as possible.

The concept:

Target group / participants:

Syrian children and youth aged 6 to 17.
We divide participants into 3-year age groups (e.g., 6–8, 9–11, 12–14, 15–17).

Period / Dates:

Wochenweise vom 02.08.2025 – 28.08.2025
You can register your child for one or more weeks.
Saturdays to Thursdays
Daily programme probably from 10:00 to 16:30

Participation fee:

€200 per child per week
From the 2nd child 10% discount
Additional 10% discount for participation in several weeks.

Planned programme components

Strengthening Arabic language skills
Age-appropriate, informal learning with a focus on active communication in Arabic – particularly in the Syrian dialect and with cultural relevance
Cultural immersion and discovery
Guided excursions to cultural and historical sites, as well as traditional craft centers (subject to security conditions). In addition, there are programs designed to bring Syria’s rich and diverse cultural heritage to life.
Creative arts and expression
Practice-oriented workshops – providing a space for creative expression and personal storytelling.
Sport, fun and group activities
Daily sports sessions and group games to promote health, team spirit, joy of life, and a sense of community.

Your participation in the summer camp supports the promotion of our orphans

These proceeds will also be used to organize and fund a free summer program for Syrian orphans in the city of Al-Atareb. By registering, you not only give your own child the chance to participate in this meaningful program, but also help provide education and care through a summer school for an orphan living under difficult conditions.

The camp is organised by the Education Development Commission (EDC) In cooperation with Ahsin. EDC is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to providing both formal and non-formal education for children in crisis and war zones. With a long-standing history, EDC focuses on creating safe learning environments, supporting psychosocial well-being, and developing child-centered educational models grounded in dignity, self-efficacy, and hope.
