The concept of our orphanage school
The Aschafii Orphan School, founded in 2015 in the Al-Atareb district (west of Aleppo), is a specialised educational institution for orphans who lost their parents during the war in Syria and due to the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria in 2023. With 112 dedicated staff, the school currently provides a safe and nurturing learning environment for around 850 orphans.
The school offers not only high-quality teaching, but also daily meals, transport services and psychological support to ensure that the children enjoy holistic development despite their traumatic experiences.
